What it does
Removes silence from a talking-head recording: dead air before and after the speech, and long pauses between words, trimmed down to a natural breath. It leaves the words alone. It writes an edit list and a re-timed transcript for later steps, and can render the cut video with FFmpeg. Cutting stutters and retakes is a separate skill.
